What's this all about?

- On November 7, 2009, I accomplished my dream of becoming an Ironman. It was a long and challenging journey, but it is one of which I am infinitely proud. This blog started as a chronicle of that journey, but is now becoming a place for me to write about training and life in general. As a matter of background, I spontaneously decided to run a marathon in 2006. Six marathons and a few triathlons later, I decided to attempt, or rather conquer, Ironman Florida.
